Undertaking courses

We always hope you are happy with your purchase, if you enjoy our courses you can leave a review on the course product page. To do this:

  • Navigate to the all courses page.
  • Select the course.
  • Under the review section, select your star rating and add your comments.
  • Click Submit to enter your review.

Once you have purchased your course you can navigate to your course by clicking the link for my courses within the menu. This will take you to your overall courses dashboard. When you are ready to take the course click on the course title and you can begin taking each lesson.

Resuming current course

When you want to continue at the last point of the previous course you can click on the resume current course button from within the my courses section.

To progress to the next topic you will need to manually mark the topic as complete, you can easily do so by clicking the button mark complete.

Viewing previous topics

You can view topics you have already completed at anytime. You can do this different ways:

  1. Login to your account
  2. Navigate to my courses and select your course.
  3. Click on the lesson you want to view.
  4. Within that click on the specific topic you have already marked complete.

If you want to view a previous topic or move to the next topic there is a navigation options at the bottom of each topic. To move back you can click previous topic, to move forward click next topic.

To progress to the next topic you will need to manually mark the topic as complete, you can easily do so by clicking the button mark complete.

Understanding course progress

Once the topic is marked complete you will be moved to the next topic. You can understand your course progress by:

  • The Course progress bar will have a circle marked green
  • On the lesson overview page the topic will have a green circle marked next to it.

Please be aware if the circle is grey, then the topic is not marked as complete.

When undertaking a course with Haddletons you will be working through lessons, our lessons will topics and majority of the time contain and end of lesson quiz.

Lessons without a quiz

If the lesson does not contain a quiz you will need to mark the last topic complete and this will move you to the next lesson

Lessons with a quiz

Once you have completed the end of lesson quiz successfully you can click the button ‘Move to next lesson’ this will automatically mark the current lesson complete and move you to the next lesson.

Previewing future lessons

To view other lessons within the course you will need to complete each lesson in chronological order. If you don’t you will see a message showing “Please go back and complete the previous lesson.”

Lessons Marked as Complete

Lessons will be marked complete once all topics and exams have been completed successfully. Once this has happened on the course dashboard there will be a green tick under the status column.

Lesson Status

All of our courses have an end of course exam. To access this exam you will need to have completed every lesson, topic and quiz within the course.

To make sure everything is completed you can understand your course progress by:

  • The Course progress bar will have a circle marked green
  • On the lesson overview page the topic will have a green circle marked next to it.
  • The course dashboard will have a green tick next to each lesson.

Please be aware if the circle is grey or the tick is grey, then the topic is not marked as complete.

I have marked everything complete but cant take the final exam

Occasionally the system can lock a user when they have attempted quizzes too many times when undertaking an end of lesson quiz. If you have receive the following error “Please go back and complete the previous lesson.” Please check the following:

  • Each lesson is marked complete. Each part of the course will be highlighted green and receive a green tick next to the lesson & topic when completed.
  • You have passed each individual quiz within the relevant lesson.

If the message stills appears please contact support with the following details:

  • The exact course title or course URL.
  • Your first and last name.
  • Course purchase date.
  • Confirmation / transaction id.

When taking your online course you are required to mark each lesson and topic complete to move to the end of lesson exam and onto the next lesson.

If you mark a lesson complete by accident or decide you wish to restart the lesson and what this to be reset you can contact our support team with the following details:

  • First Name & Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Course Name
  • Lesson you want to be reset

Our support team can then reset the lesson you require or the full course.

Once you have completed the Haddletons Academy online course you will receive a certificate if completion from within the course dashboard. Your Certificates can be saved as a pdf file.

Certificates of Completion help demonstrate your accomplishments, but please note Haddletons is not an accredited institution, and as a result, the certificates cannot be used for formal accreditation.

Viewing Certificates

To view your certificate, login into your account and click on the certificate icon. This will open your completed PDF certificate within a new tab.

I’ve completed my course and I can’t see a certificate

A certificate will automatically appear once you have completed all of the required lessons, topics and quizzes. Occasionally the system may need a couple of minutes to generate your certificate. You may also need to refresh the page, or clear your cache and cookies, in order to see your certificate.

My certificate does not have the correct name

Your certificate is generated using your first name & last name. If you need to change the certificate’s name, navigate to your account and click edit profile and change your first name and last name. Once this has been updated you can go view your certificate and the name will be updated.
